Krabi airport authorities have issued a stern warning to operators of taxis and limousines to comply strictly with regulations or have their contracts terminated following a scuffle between staff on Tuesday. Taxi drivers operating at the airport are members of the Krabi Taxi and Business Services Cooperatives Co while the limousine service is provided by Wealthy Unending Limited Partnership. Under the current airport regulations, there is reserved parking for two taxis near the entrance-exit gates. The airport provides a parking area near the terminal gates for four limousines. Nakin Petlu, president of the Krabi Taxi cooperative, said the limousine staff member accused the taxi driver of being an unlicensed operator and took his picture using a mobile phone.
